There were about 15 balloons in total the day we went. There were about 25 … More people on our balloon ride. We took off before sun up and once we were aloft, were saw a beautiful sunrise! We floated over many of the best historical sites on the west bank. While this balloon ride was one of the most expensive ones, I think it was well worth it. Our balloon captain was very experienced and used to be a tour guide of the west bank himself. He described in great detail the things that we saw below. Also, it seemed that our balloon flew over the most interesting sites and that we got to see things from a much better vantage point than most of the other balloons. In our opinion - you get what you pay for with this balloon operator.

Lovely Hot Air Balloon Ride
My friend and I had such a great time on our trip! Omar was very helpful over the phone when we decided last minute to change our reservation to another day. He did this with no issue and made sure we knew exactly when and where we would be picked up.
Mohammed picked us up and was very professional and helpful. He made sure everyone had what they needed and knew the safety procedures.
The flight itself was stunning! We watched the sun rise over the Nile and the nearby temples. I would certainly take this trip again!
The most fantastic experience to float over the Nile at Luxor on a beautiful morning in a hot air balloon.
The chance of a lifetime to Hot Air Balloon over the Nile and see the magnificent sunrise in the wake of the Valley of the Kings. Bakr, our Pilot in Command was brilliant making sure we all saw the sights. We had a superb landing amongst the sugar cane and a rather surprised donkey. It had been planned and added to our amusement. I will treasure my certificate for ever, with my co cruise companions. It is a trip well worth getting up for and is truly memorable.
